CRIME
Officers of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra State a.k.a OCHA Brigade with the Joint Task Force (JTF) lead by Kenneth Okonkwo recently combed Eke Awka, Onitsha Bridge Head and Ose Okwodu markets to arrest those hoodlums that are extorting money from hawkers, barrow pushers, tricycle (keke NAPEP) drivers, okada riders, etc.
Recall that, as a response to the hard biting economic recession in Nigeria, governor Obiano recently suspended the payment of taxes by low income earners including vehicle emblems, wheel barrow tools, etc, in a special Stimulus Package designed to make life better for ndi Anambra.
Amidst dancing and singing, the market men and women praised Gov Willie Obiano for being a true father and for coming to their aid as these hoodlums have tormented their lives.
