The Kano-based Nigerian girl whose body stopped growing since birth has died.

Rahma Haruna, 19, who blamed demons for her ordeal has been living in the bowl all her life until she was given a wheel chair by Kano State government in January.

Sadly, she died yesterday in Kano.

Her death was announced by an FB user, Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar few hours ago.

May her soul rest in peace.

A Police officer and an employee of Access Bank have been arrested in connection to a foiled robbery case in Rumuolumeni area of Port Harcourt.

3 suspects were arrested last week Thursday while some members of the gang fled on sighting police operatives.

However, 2 AK 47 rifles belonging to serving policemen were recovered during the operation.

The discovery of the rifles led to the arrest of the above police officer, Sergeant Promise Ukwuoma and an Access Bank employee, Samuel Ndudiri pictured above.

The duo were arrested around 11:35am on Friday.

A police corporal, Gabriel Igwe and some members of the gang which arranged the foiled robbery are currently on the run.

Nov 10, 2016 – Money Laundering Court Case: Chief Femi Fani Kayode Gets N50Million Bail

Federal High Court Abuja ‘s Justice James Tsoho today granted a N50m bail to former spokesman of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.

Fani-Kayode was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a five-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N26m.
FFK is the sole defendant in the fresh charges numbered, FHC/ABJ/CR/140/2016.

The EFCC accused the defendant of diverting 26 million Naira allegedly received from the ONSA while Sambo Dasuki was in office.

The anti-graft agency also accused him of handling the said N26 million without going through financial institution as required under the Money Laundering Act.

The embattled former minister is already facing 17-count charge of money laundering before the Lagos Division of the court, along with a former Finance Minister; Nenadi Usman, Danjuma Yusuf and a firm; Joint Trust Dimension Nigeria Limited.

They were charged with unlawful retention, unlawful use and unlawful payment of money to the tune of 4.9 billion Naira.

The Republican Presidential candidate was speaking at a rally in Reno Nevada yesterday when Security Agents suddenly rushed him out of stage after an apparent security threat.

He was in the middle of his speech when he suddenly paused and looked into the crowd to see a man making threatening statements against him.

The billionaire American businessman was immediately dragged off stage by two Security Service agents.

A man was later escorted out of the venue by armed policemen.

Donald Trump later returned to the stage to continue his speech.

22-year-old Arun Kumar from Uttar Pradesh state in India has begged doctors to remove his two extra legs so he can have a normal life like others.
The young man said the deformity has denied him the right of normal living.
According to his mother, Kumar was rejected by doctors at various hospitals in India because the extra legs were too risky to operate on when he was a baby.

Some doctors at a specialist hospital in Delhi have responded to his request and have carried out a series of test to figure out the proper way to remove the extra legs.

He hopes the doctors can fulfill their promise on time.

Multi-millionaire Eze Ndigbo in Malaysia Dies in His Sleep Less Than 2 Months After Being Crowned (Photos)

Less than 2 months after he was being crowned, the Eze Ndigbo of Malaysia, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, Afu enyi amalu enyi na Ozubulu, Ogalanya a na eli ego ya o na eme, dies in his sleep 

The Igbo community in Malaysia woke up to the news of the death of one of his illustrious sons, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, a renowned exporter and the Eze Ndigbo in Malaysia, over the weekend. 

 

The multi-millionaire businessman who was crowned in August 2016, reportedly died in his sleep. He left behind a wife and three children.

 

A Facebook user, Nadis Justin Emechebe who announced the shocking news and shared the photos, wrote:

 

"I couldn’t believe he is gone when I first heard the news so I had to make a proper verification before making a condolence post because he is one of the greatest Igbo man in Malaysia and he was crowned the Eze Ndi Igbo in Malaysia this year.

 

"With my heart full of sorrow and despair, I personally announces the untimely and sudden death of our brother, father, husband and friend Eze ndi Igbo na Malay, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, Afu enyi amalu enyi na Ozubulu, Ogalanya a na eli ego ya o na eme. Rest in Peace Onwa."

 

The cause of his death is still unknown as at the time of filing this report.
